Candidates For Top Dog

Ivy
Ffyler
My dog should be considered for the position of Top Dog because:
10. She is smart.
9. She is female.
8. She has good manners.
7. She holds her own leash on walks.
6. Due to her upbringing, she has a good command of the democratic process.
5. She has job experience being the top dog.
4. She understands the give-and-take of peer interaction.
3. She moves in both Democratic and Republican circles.
2. She loves everyone.
1. She's a born and bred Democrat!

Ffyler already is Top Dog, but wants the public recognition that goes along with being elected. Ffyler, born in the Suffield Dogpound, relates to many different breeds. Using his shepherd ears like satellite dishes, he tunes in! He communicates by pushing, prodding and high pitched yelping. Taking walks on a leash taught him good team building skills - when to lead and when to fall in with the others. His amazing speed allows him to guard against airborn environmental pollution by forcing winged intruders to take flight.
Buster*
Bogart
3 years old; the Prince of Cats; protector of all good Democrats; lover of all animals, especially, mice, voles, chipmonks, bears and dragons. Favorite pastimes: bringing in live pets to play with in the house, removing all objects from flat surfaces, like desk, tables, and most of all, sleeping on an electric blanket.

*This cat's entry in the Top Dog contest has been challenged. We are awaiting a decision from the Supreme Court.

Bogart should be Top Dog because he has now retired the title of "Deputy Dog" . Bogart is a twelve year old Chocolate Lab that brings great joy to all around him. Bogart's generous nature lets him share all his toys and bones with our Granddog Coby. Bogart would relish the title of "Top Dog".
